Yale Jet Aeronautics is all about speed. The purpose of this project is to eventually break the world RC Jet speed record of 465 mph currently held by Niels Herbrich. To accomplish this, we will design, build, test, and fly an RC Jet. Not only will the aircraft be of our own design, but we will design and build our very own jet engine in-house. This project is the perfect opportunity to get invaluable experience with aerospace engineering and is currently the only aeronautical engineering project at Yale.
